Powers
VAMPIRES
![]() One ability. typically related to making it easier for them to hunt (e.g. make them more physically appealing, power of suggestion, empaths, etc.). There are exceptions. To discuss this possibility please speak to the mod. Natural attributes: Increased strength (the ability to lift 3x their own weight), hearing, and sense of smell (slightly less than those of a shapeshifter’s). Immortal unless beheaded and burned, the ashes of the head and body thrown into separate bodies of water. Increased heal speeds (heal time is halved with increased blood intake). Note: a starved vampire is next to useless. |
SHAPESHIFTERS
![]() The ability to shapeshift into a specific breed of a specific species at will. Wolf shapeshifters lose control over their human shape on the night of the full moon for reasons unknown. Prolonged time spent in animal form (days to weeks) have been known to result in the appearance of animal-like characteristics when in human form. Natural attributes: Increased strength (the ability to lift 3x their own weight), hearing, and sense of smell (slightly greater than those of a vampire’s). Higher than human body temperature. Increased heal speeds. |
DEMIGODS
![]() Typically one ability, but can develop up to two with proper discipline/schooling (1 major, 1 minor). Most demigods are trained in some way or another, a practice developed some time ago by deities to keep the sheer number of offspring produced from creating sheer chaos. A demigod’s powers must be related to their parents’ realm of control. Natural attributes: Maintain an “ethereal” quality that’s subtle but certainly there – a shade of beauty that isn’t quite human yet hard to place unless one knows exactly what to look for. |
MUTANTS
![]() Typically one ability, but it’s possible to have up to two (1 major, 1 minor). A majority of mutants are self-trained though some have been formally trained. As a result though, their abilities are prone to being more wild and unpredictable in nature than those of either vampires or demigods. Natural attributes: Appear human for all intents and purposes. |
