TIMELINE OF EVENTS

27 BC	Rise of what humans call the Roman Empire. Magic begins to fade.

3 AD	Greece, once a strong source of magic, is no longer a power node. Creatures of the night and shapeshifters from this region migrate to survive.

472	Two humans spawn a being with strange abilities. This is believed to be the first mutant.

1996	Last known appearance of a celestial on Earth. All traces of celestials dwell in their half-mortal spawn.

2015	Majority of the world's power nodes has ceased to be. The Supernatural Council and the Lady of the City make plans to enforce new immigration laws in Hong Kong in order to accommodate the supernaturals from dying nodes.

2016	January 1st. Hong Kong City implements its open immigration policy. Many make the move to Hong Kong; humans for an opportunity to live in one of the world's most prosperous cities, and supernaturals for survival. January 3rd. victoriapeak is launched. To most of the human population, it is a Hong Kong based social network that primarily caters to new citizens under Hong Kong's new immigration laws. For the supernatural population, however, it is a way for them to communicate, to prevent faction conflict, and locate others of their kind.
